Papercraft Business Challenge #22 - There's a Bear There!

Hello, fellow crafters! This is the beginning of a new challenge over at Papercraft Business Challenge Blog!   This month, we're doing cards (or anything crafty) with the Theme of There's a Bear There! Such a cute theme, too! But first, check out the Giveaway for this month by Whimsy Stamps:

I have to admit, I don't do a lot of bears, so I didn't have many in my files. But I did come across a real cutie by Pickled Potpourri. And I totally love it! Now, I couldn't find a link for that bear in the shop, so it may have been retired. I've apparently had it longer than I thought. Anyway, I'm sure there are plenty more over there! 

So here is my birthday card: 

I call him Happy Birthday Bear.  I used my Spectrum Noir color markers to color him in. Then I used an SVG file on my Silhouette Cameo 3 to cut out the easel card. I basically just had to glue it all together (love the cut files!! ).  I used the pink designer paper from my stash that I got from Close To My Heart as a Consultant. (I recently joined up again....I really love their papers!)

Outlawz Color Challenge - August 27th, 2019

This fortnight's challenge is an inspirational photo with some lovely colors for you to choose from.

Isn't that a stunning photo?? As you can see, there's a lot of purple going on, but there's also a hint of some blues and definitely some greens going on! So this is what I created:

I used my Prismacolors to color the digital. Then I added a glittered background, placed that on top of a purple glitter paper, and then more layers. Plus simple embellishments so it wouldn't take away from the digital.

Outlawz Color Challenge - August 13th

This week, it's fellow DT member Jacqui's turn to create the challenge. She chose  the color beige from this fabulous boat picture. All you have to do is choose two other colours from the picture to go with it and then add a twist of your own choice.

Isn't that an adorable little picture?? My image is Kitten with Chicks.  I love this little image! I had so much fun coloring it! I of course used the beige, but I also used the orange and blue from the photo inspiration. For my Twist, I made an embossed sentiment.

He was so fun to color! I went with the orange and yellow on the whole card, because of the yellow and black on the bee. My embossing is the sentiment. I used several layers, along with black because I figured that would help set off the rest of the colors. :)

Splashy Mix Challenge #8

Hello fellow crafters! And welcome to another challenge over at Splashy Mix Challenges!   We have a great moodboard for you this month...check it out! Beautiful and bright colors!

Now here is the mixed media card that I made with inspiration from the board:

I used several textures in this card, including texture paste and adding some gemstone flowers for embellishments! Lots of flowers and lace with mist sprays were also added. I added a beautiful little hummingbird I got from Reneabouquets online shop.

I got this cutest little image from Fabrika Fantasy called Forest Mouse!  So here it is:

Now, I'm not into mice, rats, any type of rodent, but this guy was just adorable! And you see there are 3 layers there (not including the image itself). I used my Spectrum Noir color markers and layered him using papers from The Paper Temptress. Isn't he a cutie?? And definitely...need that coffee!!
