So now I want to share with you what I've done for this challenge. I was given 2 digital images for the blogiversary...1 a card and 1 a tag. Both of them have the Winter Theme on there. Here is my card:
I love the My Besties image here! She is so adorable! I decided, with it being winter, that I needed to make a winter theme card. And I got this great idea for a Shadow Box Card from the YouTube channel of Crafter's Castle (tutorial available January, 2018). Because the print of my digital was a little bigger than the one I saw in the tutorial, I adjusted my card to fit. I used glitter paper for the top portion of the card, with lace and snowflakes as embellishments. My image was colored in with both markers and colored pencils.
Now let me show you the tag I made (can you tell I was seeing a "Blue Winter"? Haha
I used an image by Lacy Sunshine called Jocelyn's Winter Moppet. She is adorable! For this tag, I made something a little different using inspiration from a Pinterest post by lescrapdaligali . Since I couldn't find any instructions, I basically did my own measurements. However, instead of using a clear acetate background by itself, I used a heavy duty vellum behind it and sandwiched my tree branches in between. Before I did that, however, I sprinkled acrylic white paint on the back of the acetate sheet. Then I added in my elements and sentiment on the top side of the tag.
I hope you enjoyed this! Here is a list of our DT Members for you to "hop on over to"! And please leave a comment!
