Crafty Gals Corner Challenges #192 - Fancy Fold

Hello, crafters! Today began a new challenge over at Crafty Gals Corner!  And for this challenge - FANCY FOLD - we have the amazing sponsor....

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate
My fellow teammates and I have been very busy making our cards for this awesome theme! I LOVE fancy fold cards! So let me share with you what I made, using a tutorial from Dawn's Stamping Thought. This card is called an Interlocking Rectangle Gate Fold Card (here link HERE). I never want to take credit for something I made using someone else's tutorial.

So here's my card:

Contemplation - Moonflower

Rather than telling you how I made the fold, I've added the link to the tutorial that I got. Mine is slightly different, but still the same technique. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color her in.

I hope that you will join us for this fortnight challenge! And thank you so much for stopping by!

TaylorMadeCards4U Father's Day Project - Gone Fishin'

Hello, fellow crafters! I'm so excited to share with you my newest project as a DT with TaylorMadeCards4U!  For this project, I am using a new digital kit called Gone Fishin'.   I don't do a lot of masculine cards, but this one was so fun to make! Here is what I worked with:

These papers are awesome! I love the "texture" of the pieces and the vintage feel of the papers. I have to tell you....I fished a lot more than my dad did (which wasn't much, but my dad never went fishing, as far as I know). So some of the fondest memories I have of fishing, are when my children and I went fishing while my husband was stationed overseas. I couldn't force myself to put minnows on the hook, but somehow I managed to put the worms on. I think of it now and I'm......"UGH!" But whether or not your dad fishes, these papers make an excellent Father's Day card.

Now here is my card, with tags inside for photos:

I printed out my papers on heavy cardstock, using my HP Envy Printer. It prints great, and these turned out fabulous! They look like I bought them at the store! My base foundation is a Kraft paper, because I felt like it would look great for a masculine card. I then cut out all the pieces and distressed the edges with Ink Oxide Walnut Stain. I even decided the back of the card could use decorating! :)

Here is a video process of the card:

Take a look around at Monica's Shop (TaylorMadeCards4U). There's a lot of beautiful papers to choose from!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone and welcome to another fortnight of Challenge with The Outlawz Color Challenge! Our sponsor for May is Polkadoodles.

Fellow designer, Ursula, chose this lovely board for our inspiration:
I love this stylish board! For this challenge I chose Hyacinth, the Darling Buds.  She is adorable! Here is what I did, using Spectrum Noir markers:
I had so much fun coloring it! I thought it would be a big challenge to do monochromatic, but turns out it wasn't!

I hope you will join us! And have a lot of fun with this challenge! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #191 - May Flowers

Hello, crafters! And welcome to another Crafty Gals Corner Challenge! I'm here today to share with you my project as a Designer with Crafty Gals. The theme for this challenge is: May Flowers (Incorporate flowers in your project)

Our sponsor for this challenge is:
Prize: 3 Digital Stamps

I hope that you will join us and share your project! Now, take a look at mine:
I admit I have used this digital, The Ladyonce before, but she's such a fun digital I had to take a go at her again! I used my Spectrum Noir color markers on her. I also used papers from The Paper Temptress. I took a Sizzix Die Cut that add flowers and leave on it, and placed it behind her. I forgot to angle the die cut to get more of the floral to show, but you can still see some peeking through. I layered it on top of the white, and then added my colored digital. I then sprayed some liquid adhesive on after I placed her on top, and then sprinkled a little glitter on. Then I added the flower and floral lace to the side.

I hope that this will inspire you to create! And thank you for stopping by!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Super Sponsor TaylorMadeCards4U

Hello fellow  crafters! Guess what time it is?? It's time for another Coffee Lovers Hop!
For this hop, TaylorMadeCards4U is a Super Sponsor! And I'm happy to say that I am a proud DT of this awesome group!

I have used the Passport Kit - Lion Coffee ATC Cards. They are GORGEOUS! I wanted to do something extra special, so I decided to make a pocket type ATC card holder. Below in the video I explain my process.

I LOVE coffee! Both my parents were coffee lovers, especially my dad. He would always drink it black with sugar (bleh!). I didn't start to drink coffee until I was married, and then it had to have lots of cream and some sugar. I finally graduated to creamer only. Now the thought of sugar in it mortifies me! Lol. I'll always remember my dad sitting at the table drinking his cup of java!

Now here are some photos of my mini-album...I hope they will inspire you to join in on the fun!

I want to share with you the Promo Sheet for this awesome digital paper!

Here's my video...enjoy!
