Hello, crafters! Today begins a new challenge over at the Papercraft Business Blog! With that said, it's an ANYTHING GOES with the optional theme of Love/Valentine's Day. If you do the optional theme, you win an extra entry! We hope you will join us! Now on to my project:
I wanted to make a different kind of card than I had ever made before. I found this awesome tutorial from a YouTube channel of Maymay Made It! Click HERE. Here is my card:
Of course, I made a few little adjustments for what I wanted, but the concept is the same. I also used vellum inside and a couple of tealights. One tealight might have worked, but hey...the brighter the prettier it became! It was so easy to do and a lot of fun!
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to join in on our challenges! We'd love to see your creation!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges #158
Hello and welcome back to a new challenge over at Crafty Gals Corner Challenges!
This week the challenge is: Anything Goes
Our sponsor this week is the amazing
Prize: $15 Gift Certificate
So for my project this week, I am using Pure Innocence. She is one little cutie! This isn't my first time using The Paper Shelter, and I really love them! One thing I like about them, is that you get several images....both pre-colored and non-colored. Plus you get background images. Sometimes you just don't have the time you need to put together a special card for someone special. Normally, I use the black and white image and color it in myself. But this was one of those times where I wasn't able to, after being sick a few days. So, I used all pre-colored.
So here's what I did. I used my Silhouette to cut out the little fairy and butterfly and stickled her. Using the same dimensions, I cut out the whole background with the image already on it, and placed it on a pink cardstock. Once my separated fairy was dry, I mounted her right on top of the background piece using 3D foam. So I actually had two fairy images, one on top of the other. I then mounted her on top of white cardstock and added pearls. Ouila! She was done! Simple, yet the images make a statement!
So there you have it! Let's see what you create! I hope you will join our challenge!
Blessings,

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images
Now I'd like to share with you my card as inspiration for you (hopefully!). Here it is:
Outside of Card
Card Opened
This card is called a wrap card. And for my card, I used the image Rory's Winter Poinsettia from Lacy Sunshine. I love this image! She's a real cutie!
I cut out my wrap card using a setting from the library of my Silhouette. So much easier than cutting by hand, for sure! There are dies that can be used, but since I didn't have any like that, this was the way to go for me. I also cut out my image with the SIL and then colored her with a combination of color markers and Prismacolor pencils. The snowflake to the side of her was filled in with glossy accents and diamond glass glitter. I then added a piece of white cardstock to the inside of the card, placed the image on it, and lastly added washi tape to each side of her.
The last thing I did was to make a "belly band" for the outside of the card to simply hold the folds down in place better. I decorated it with a couple of rhinestones, a poinsettia, and washi tape. And she was done!
I hope you enjoyed this card! And please do stop by Crafty Gals and enter our challenges!

So here is my project I'd like to share with you:
For my image, I chose the image Carousel Horse. I've been wanting to do this image for awhile. And here it finally is! I used my Silhouette to print the paper with sentiment on the background. I colored my image using my Prismacolors. I then used my Glossy Accents to give my horse more of the carousel look. I cut out my heart using one of my punches, glossied it up, and added diamond glass glitter. My final touch was to add the flowers.
I hope you will join in the challenges! There's prizes waiting for....could it be you?? :-)

Papercraft Business January Challenge!
Hi, crafters! Today begins our 2nd challenge over at Papercraft Business! Since this is only our 2nd challenge, here is some important information for you. First, our THEME: We are an Anything Goes Challenge Blog. That means cards, tags, mixed media, etc. We will also have an optional twist. This month's Optional: Anything New for an extra entry to win the prize! This is a monthly challenge, so our 2nd challenge ends January 31st, 2018.
Now let me share with you what I did for this project:
Since the Theme is an Anything Goes with an Optional Christmas, I chose to do a Christmas. And it came right at the time I was getting ready for a craft purse swap! So I decided to go with the purse as my very first project with the Papercraft Business Challenge Blog! Here it is:
Now let me share with you what I did for this project:
Now, before I go any further, I want to let you know that I got the idea for this card from a YouTube video HERE. The big difference is that I didn't have the slider die cuts, so I just adjusted my card to do it by hand.
I'd like to share with you my video demonstrating what my card does when "in action". CLICK HERE.
I hope that you will join in on our challenge! There are always prizes to be given away!

I simply LOVE this image! One of my faves! I colored in my image with markers first, then went over with Prismacolor Pencils. I used a new square die cut to cut out my image, placed it on designer mounting paper and then onto the black base foundation. I added some black gemstones, flowers, and lace for embellishments.
If you haven't checked out Crafty Gals Corner Challenges for winners from last week/blogiversary, be sure to do so! You might be on there!
Thanks for stopping by!
