Outlawz Color Challenge March 27, 2018

Hello, fellow crafters! Today a new COLOR CHALLENGE has begun over at THE OUTLAWZ! And this month we have the amazing SheepSki Designs as our Sponsor! The winner will receive 3 digital images of choice! Now let's look at the Photo Inspiration chosen by fellow DT Member, Kimberly:

So there you have the inspiration! The colors are gorgeous! Now let me show you what I did:

Now, you might say...where in the world did she come up with those colors out of that picture?? I'll tell you: If you look closely at the picture, there are some shades of pink in there, plus some greens, and also some shadows (which is why I chose the dark background). The bow was made a dark pink...not quite as dark as it shows in the picture. 

My Twist? To use TH Ink Oxides as a "watercolor" base for her blouse. In this case, I used Bone China as the color. I then used some Prismacolors that closely matched the Bone China to do some more shading.
