Summer Time Card!

Hello, fellow crafters! Today begins a new monthly challenge over at the Crafty Gals Corner Challenge Blog! I hope that you will be inspired enough to join us! The theme for this challenge is called Summer Time Fun!  How fun is that??

Our sponsors for this challenge are:

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

Stamper's Delights
Prize ~ 3 Single Digital Images

Twinkle Lane Designs
Prize: Two Digital Images
& Two Coordinating Digital Paper Sets

So what I made was a slimeline card, which seem to be very popular these days! My card is from Stamper's Delight, titled Summer Time Fun! She's a very cute image, so I thought I'd color her in the pink and green hues. I thought about "going blonde" with her hair, but I changed my mind and decided a brunette color would like better on my card.

I printed this paper on my Silhouette Cameo 4. And instead of cutting her out separately, I just placed her directly on the card front and then colored her. Here is my card:

So I've got 2 monitors that I use....the laptop one, and then the TV one which is hooked up to the laptop. Both monitors show a different color of the greens, pink, and purple. I hope it looks better on your monitor! Lol.

I did use glitter glue on her, because she seemed pretty much of a diva to me. ;)

I hope that you will be inspired to join us! Thank you for stopping by!

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images used by the DT

For this challenge, I had the privilege of making 2 cards! The first one is called Flower Petals. Here she is:
She is from Colour of Love by Heather Valentin. I absolutely loved working this cutie! I used my Spectrum Noir color markers to color her in, but I wanted to give her a little extra oomph, so I added some stickles and diamond glass glitter. Then I added layers to mount her on.

My next card is Your Name is Like Honey from Cute as a Button.
I thought this one was just adorable! Did you notice the little bee on her nose? Lol! I made a daisy and put it to the side of her, and used some dsp that had bees on it, to compliment the image. I wondered why I bought it before, but now I know!

Well, there you go! I hope that these will inspire you to join in on our challenge! We love seeing your projects! Thank you so much for stopping by!

You're the Man!

For this challenge, we are privileged to be sponsored by:

Bugaboo Digital Stamps
Prize ~ $12 gift certificate

Prize ~ $5 Gift Certificate

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

For this challenge, we are celebrating the men in our lives! I decided that I would make a Father's Day card so my grandchildren could give their Dad a card. Here is my card:

Bugaboo Stamps

I thought that I'd do something a little different for this card. Anyway, for me it was different. Before I made the card base, I made the tie out of blue cardstock with black underneath. I then cut out my digital and colored her. Once that was done, I placed her onto the tie, and then did my matting for the card base. Some ribbon and buttons added, and it was done!

This was such a fun card to do! I hope that you will join us for this month's challenge! But most of all, have fun with it, and stay safe!!

For my card this month, I used Lilly the Dancing Princess. Isn't she a beauty? I used my Spectrum Noir color markers on her. I also layered her using a layer cut from my Cameo 4. I glittered up her crown to give it more of the "royalty" look to it.

Blog Hop Featuring Jill Cameron Creations!

Hello, fellow crafters! I'm excited to share with you a blog hop, featuring designs by Jill Cameron Creations!  She has some great cut files, and I'm here today to share with you what I did! Be sure to follow along on the blog hop to give the designers some love, especially during these trying times!

Now let me share with you what I made. I decided with all the awesome files, I'd make 2 cards (for now anyway!). Here they are:

Keep Up the Good Work card & Rainbow Hugs card

Inside of Rainbow Hugs card

Here are the layers I used for the hugs card

Here are the layers I used for the Good Work card

As you can see, I had a lot of fun layers I cut out to make my cards. I also used my Foil Quill pen on my Silhouette Cameo 3 to get all the silver foils you see. For the "thank you", "hugs", and the "good work" sentiments, I used heat foil by using my laminating machine. I had a lot of fun!

Once they were all cut, it was just a matter of putting the layers all together. And they turned out awesome! Be sure to click her name above to follow the link to her shop.

Now, here's the lineup of designers!
