Outlawz Color Challenge January 31st

Hello, crafty peeps! I hope you're enjoying your week! Today, we've started a new Color Challenge over at the Outlawz! This one was a challenge for me, as I don't do a lot of masculine cards. I seem to draw a blank with them. Lol. But, I found this awesome image from Faery Ink - Beau Prince Charming. And he's adorable! Now, onto the photo inspiration for this week:

Now here's my card. (Don't tell my husband, but it's for his upcoming birthday....shhhh.)
See what I mean? He's a real cute fella, isn't he? This is a pretty Clean and Simple Card. I basically colored him up, using my Prismacolors, put some stickles on his crown and on his sleeve cuffs, used metallic gel pens on his septer, mounted him onto a black mat, then a white mat, and a black card base. I then added some gems on each corner of the card and a sentiment. Then I called him done! Not a lot of bling and all the other embellishments I usually put on, as my hubby isn't into that. Lol.

I hope you can come over and show us your project for this challenge!

Outlawz Color Challenge January 24th

Hello, fellow crafters! Today starts another new week of Color Challenges over at The Outlawz! And have I got a cute image to share with you! Bugaboo Stamps is sponsoring us this month. For this week, I chose the Young Couple - Person to Annoy. So cute!! Here is the photo inspiration with the Twist of Make a Valentine Card or Project.

Now, as most of you know, I normally fill my tag with a lot of bling, lace, etc. But for this tag, I felt it just needed to be a simply decorated one, so I could make the image bigger. Cardstock, Silhouette heart cut-out, roses, leaves, pearl drop strand, and my Prismacolors.....all layered together.

I hope you come join us this week! It's a lot of fun to see what everyone comes up with!

Outlawz Color Challenge Jan 17th

Hello, crafters! Today we are starting a new Color Challenge over at The Outlawz!  So before I show you my project, let me show you the photo inspiration:
Awesome, isn't it? What inspires you the most about this photo? Is it the hot air balloon...the butterflies....or maybe both or something else? I was inspired by the hot air balloon, but I also wanted a touch of the butterflies. I love butterflies! So here's my card:
The Front

The back
I decided not to use a digital this time. Since I was going for the hot air balloon, I decided to use my Silhouette to cut out a balloon pattern. After cutting out the pattern, it was a matter of decorating it...which I love to do! Before I adhered the top layer, however, I added ribbons to the balloon. Then I layered it on top of the back piece and finished embellishing it. The butterfly is from Reneabouquets. The rest of the items are from my stash....the gold lace is from a shop no longer opened. (Sad face inserted here!)

Then I just added a sentiment on the back of the balloon. I really had fun doing something different!

Thank you for stopping by! Please go over to The Outlawz and join us for this week's challenge!

Outlawz Color Challenge Jan 10th

Hello, everyone! I apparently lost what day this is, as I was thinking it was Monday all day long! So my post is a little late. But here it is for this week's Outlawz COLOR CHALLENGE:
Use these 3 colors (love them!), plus a twist of using an embellishment that starts with a "B". Now for my card:
I used my Silhouette to cut out the card base and the yellow insert, plus my flowers and my image. I put the yellow center into the white, then added the pink bling on the side, placed her on top with 3-D foam, then added the flowers and butterflies. My image is from Bugaboo Stamps, Pretty Flower Girl. Of course, my bling and butterfly are the "B" embellishments. I did use my Prismacolors for my image. Goodness! What else for me, right?? Lol.

I hope you come join us for this challenge! Thank you for stopping by my blog!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges 1-4-17

Hi, crafters! I pray that this New Year brings you lots of blessings and happiness! Today starts a new challenge over at the Crafty Gals Corner Challenges. Here are our sponsors for this week:

$15 Gift Certificate

2 Digitals

For my image this week, I used the Night Owl from Wink Wink Ink. Here is my card:

If you'll notice, his eyes look like they've been glossed. But they haven't. Pretty cool, huh! For my card foundation, I used a plain white tree trunk embossed paper and inked it up with different colors of brown. I used my Big Shots to cut out some leaves and also the Happy Birthday sentiment. Of course, I used my Prismacolors to color him up. I outlined him in black because I wanted him to "pop" more. My husband loves this card (he peeked at him when I got done with it....little does he know it's for his birthday next month! Bahahaha!)

I hope you will join us in this challenge. And again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

GIVEAWAY ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL!

Outlawz Color Challenge 1-3-17

Hello, my fellow crafters! I hope this New Year finds you healthy, happy, and blessed! Today starts a new Color Challenge over at The Outlawz. I hope you join us! Color Challenges are fun to me because you can create anything you want, as long as it falls into the color and theme for the challenge. This week's inspiration is this:

In the "fine print" of the photo, you'll see that there is a twist to this: Use the word "New" or "Baby" on your project. I happened to use both. 😉 Now on to my card.

I actually made a stand up card. It forms the shape of a baby cradle. This was extremely easy for me to get done. A lot faster than I anticipated. Lol. I went to the Silhouette Design Store and bought me the cut-out pattern for this. I then purchased the sentiment of "Happy New Year". I was putting the 2 together....this could be for a New Year baby or just to symbolize it's a New Year and start fresh! Either way works. I used the colors pink, yellow, and blue. For some reason my baby feet look a little green, but they're actually a pale yellow.

Once I got it all together, I used the pink ribbon to tie the front and back together so it could stand up properly.

I hope you enjoy this little project, and that you will join us for this week's color challenge!

Blessings and Happy New Year!
