Crafty Gals Corner Challenges #160

Hello once again, fellow crafters! It's time once again to announce that we have a new challenge going on over at Crafty Gals Corner Challenges!  And for this bi-monthly challenge #160, we have 3 amazing sponsors!

Twinkle Lane Designs

Prize: Two Digital Stamps & Two Digital Paper Packs

Digi Doodle Studios

Prize: 1 Digital Image

Mari's Digi's
Prize: 1 image used by the DT

For my card I used the Tea Time by Digi Doodle Studios. This is one adorable little digital! Here it is:
My little ladies there were colored using the Ohuhu markers. I'm still getting used to using markers instead of my Prismacolors. They will always be my "go to" coloring technique! I did the basic mounting on cardstock and added embellishments to "liven" up the card. And of course, it had to have some bling!

I hope you will join us in our challenge for this go 'round. Lots of prizes to be given!

Thank you so much for stopping by! As always,
Blessings!

TTCRD Mar-Apr 2018 Web Challenge

Hello, crafters! I want to share with you my project for Through the Craft Room Door  Web Challenge for the upcoming March/April 2018 online magazine! For this challenge, a Mixed Media project is what's happening! Here is my project - a Mixed Media card. I don't do a lot of those type of cards, but I thought I'd try my hand at one for this time around.

I put a lot of texture and various types of pieces, embellishments, and so on in this project. I was happier with it than I thought I would be. To see all the supplies I used in it, be sure to check out the upcoming TTCRD Online Magazine Mar/Apr 2018 issue! And you'll see a lot of great tutorials in there as well!
Thanks for stopping by!

Through the Craft Room Door Feb 13 Challenge

Hello everyone! I am posting this a bit late...technical issues...but I'm here now posting the new challenge of Anything Goes over at Through the Craft Room Door!  This week we are proudly sponsored by the amazing

Prize: 3 digital images of choice

About our Sponsor:
Living in Leeds, Yorkshire in the UK, working full time as a Management Accountant, currently working on 2 design teams and an obsessive crafter and creator of cards. I have no actual style as yet but do love the unusual and quirky. I may be known for producing cards in soft pastel colours.
I love anything arty. I've always drawn stuff, for as long as I can remember. In my younger days I sold a few watercolour paintings. I recently found mixed media which is a joy and love creating canvases with flowers.
I had a battle with digital drawing for about a year and finally found some software I could gel with. January 2016 a challenge team I worked on was short of a designer's images to create with so I drew some. I opened my shop a month later so I could sponsor challenges and give something back to the crafting world, to the lovely ladies who have supported me on my journey.
I've a Facebook group SheepSki Designs where I hold challenges, some for fun to win digis as well as my monthly card challenge. I've a SheepSki Designs challenge blog as well. Things are growing slowly (thankfully) so I still manage to spend at least a little time with my hubby :D

So now I want to share with you my card for this challenge:

I love this image! And she was a lot of fun to color! All the details of the supplies will be in the next online magazine of Through the Craft Room Door's March/April 2018 issue. Be sure to check it out!

Blessings,

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges #159 - Add a Heart!

Hello, fellow crafters! Today begins a new Challenge over at Crafty Gals Corner! We hope you will join us! This challenge, our sponsors are:

Prize: 3 Digital Images

Cute as a Button
Prize: 3 Digital Images
So here I am to show you what I created, using an image from Sprap n Dipity! She is "Looking for Love - Fairy Ambrosia".

She is such a sweet fairy! I had so much fun making her! I used my Prismacolors to color her, but first I laid out the color foundations by using markers for a "base" color. Then I added Diamond Glass Glitter on her wings and stickles on her heart. I prepared a base out of white cardstock, covering it with printed designer cardstock and adding a lace ribbon to the left of the card. For my wooden hearts, I used Versamark to emboss with red embossing powder. Then I added the sentiment "You & Me".

I hope you will join us for this challenge! Even though today is Valentine's Day...why not celebrate the whole month, right?

Thank you for stopping by!
