Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #232 - Anything Goes

Hello, fellow crafters! Here it is July already!! Wow! I can hardly believe it! So that means we have a new challenge over at the Crafty Gals Corner Challenge Blog!  The theme for this challenge is:

~ Anything Goes ~

Our sponsors for this challenge are:
(in alphabetical order)

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

Prize ~ £8 Gift Certificate
(to be used on digital content only)

Using: Heleniums
Twinkle Lane Designs

I absolutely LOVE this image! I used my Tri-blend markers on the flowers, but for the butterfly I used gel pens. I then made a recessed panel card, using stripes and plain white to set off the colors in the striped paper. I have a lot of 6x6 dsp, and I just need to start using them! I felt this paper in particular  really shows off the flower.

I hope that you will join us for this challenge! It's so fun, and you never know...you just might be a winner! (Although...everyone is a winner in our eyes!)

See you there!
Blessings,

So here is the card I made, using the cutest little snow couple! I absolutely love this image! It was so fun to color! I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color it on paper from Paper Temptress. I also added some snow flake stickers that I had been gifted by an overseas friend. I then added my sentiment by Close to My Heart. And then of course I matted it using papers from CTMH (Close to My Heart)

I hope that you will join us for this month's challenge! Prizes are always given! Besides that, we just love seeing your beautiful creations!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful and blessed New Year!

Summer Time Card!

Hello, fellow crafters! Today begins a new monthly challenge over at the Crafty Gals Corner Challenge Blog! I hope that you will be inspired enough to join us! The theme for this challenge is called Summer Time Fun!  How fun is that??

Our sponsors for this challenge are:
(in alphabetical order)

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

Stamper's Delights
Prize ~ 3 Single Digital Images

Twinkle Lane Designs
Prize: Two Digital Images
& Two Coordinating Digital Paper Sets

So what I made was a slimeline card, which seem to be very popular these days! My card is from Stamper's Delight, titled Summer Time Fun! She's a very cute image, so I thought I'd color her in the pink and green hues. I thought about "going blonde" with her hair, but I changed my mind and decided a brunette color would like better on my card.

I printed this paper on my Silhouette Cameo 4. And instead of cutting her out separately, I just placed her directly on the card front and then colored her. Here is my card:

So I've got 2 monitors that I use....the laptop one, and then the TV one which is hooked up to the laptop. Both monitors show a different color of the greens, pink, and purple. I hope it looks better on your monitor! Lol.

I did use glitter glue on her, because she seemed pretty much of a diva to me. ;)

I hope that you will be inspired to join us! Thank you for stopping by!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #200

Hello, fellow crafters! And welcome to my blog! We have a new challenge going on now over at Crafty Gals Corner Challenges! With this one (#200), our theme is Halloween Colors! Now, most of probably know that I don't celebrate Halloween, but I do love the colors! But first, check out our amazing sponsors for this challenge! (listed in alphabetical order)

Prize ~ $5 Gift Certificate

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

Rick St. Dennis
Prize ~ 1 Digital Image

Prize ~ Two Digital Images
& Two Coordinating Digital Paper Sets

Now let me share with you my card:

This image is called Paris en Plume by Rick St. Dennis. I love doing realistic images, and coloring this lady in was so much fun! I cut her out using my Cameo 3. After I colored her, I mounted her on some design papers, and then mounted those onto a black with a white card foundation. I then added my embellishments. I really love using red in my cards, so putting red onto her fur piece, was a no brainer for me! Lol!

I hope that this will inspire you to join us for this month's challenge! And thank you so much for stopping by!

Many blessings,

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges #168 - Anything Goes!

Hellooooo, crafters! We have started a new challenge today. This week the challenge is: Anything Goes. And our amazing sponsors are:

Prize: Two Digital Images
& Two Coordinating Digital Paper Sets

Prize ~ The 3 Digital Images used by the DT

Prize ~ $15 Gift Certificate

Wow, how cool is that? Not one sponsor, but three! So let me share with you what I did, using Prom Avery from The Paper Nest Dolls

I really had fun playing with the colors on this one. I decided to add a crown to her, and used my laminator to put Gold Deco Foil on it and added some tiny rhinestones. I colored her in with my Prismacolors, but then added Stickles to her dress and the pink part of her hair (I thought that would be fun to give her a streak of pink hair).

I used my Silhouette Portrait to make the stairs card. So much easier for me than using my hands! I added a few elements (like the gold shoes and also a sentiment).

I hope that you will join us for this bi-monthly challenge! It's always a treat to see all the wonderful talent out there!

Thanks for stopping by!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges #160

Hello once again, fellow crafters! It's time once again to announce that we have a new challenge going on over at Crafty Gals Corner Challenges!  And for this bi-monthly challenge #160, we have 3 amazing sponsors!

Twinkle Lane Designs

Prize: Two Digital Stamps & Two Digital Paper Packs

Digi Doodle Studios

Prize: 1 Digital Image

Mari's Digi's
Prize: 1 image used by the DT

For my card I used the Tea Time by Digi Doodle Studios. This is one adorable little digital! Here it is:
My little ladies there were colored using the Ohuhu markers. I'm still getting used to using markers instead of my Prismacolors. They will always be my "go to" coloring technique! I did the basic mounting on cardstock and added embellishments to "liven" up the card. And of course, it had to have some bling!

I hope you will join us in our challenge for this go 'round. Lots of prizes to be given!

Thank you so much for stopping by! As always,
Blessings!
