So now I want to share with you what I've done for this challenge. I was given 2 digital images for the blogiversary...1 a card and 1 a tag. Both of them have the Winter Theme on there. Here is my card:

I love the My Besties image here! She is so adorable! I decided, with it being winter, that I needed to make a winter theme card. And I got this great idea for a Shadow Box Card from the YouTube channel of Crafter's Castle (tutorial available January, 2018). Because the print of my digital was a little bigger than the one I saw in the tutorial, I adjusted my card to fit. I used glitter paper for the top portion of the card, with lace and snowflakes as embellishments. My image was colored in with both markers and colored pencils.

Now let me show you the tag I made (can you tell I was seeing a "Blue Winter"? Haha

I used an image by Lacy Sunshine called Jocelyn's Winter Moppet.  She is adorable! For this tag, I made something a little different using inspiration from a Pinterest post by lescrapdaligali . Since I couldn't find any instructions, I basically did my own measurements. However, instead of using a clear acetate background by itself, I used a heavy duty vellum behind it and sandwiched my tree branches in between. Before I did that, however, I sprinkled acrylic white paint on the back of the acetate sheet. Then I added in my elements and sentiment on the top side of the tag.

I hope you enjoyed this! Here is a list of our DT Members for you to "hop on over to"! And please leave a comment!

Christmas Card

Hi crafters! I wanted to share with you a card I made for a friend of mine. I'm afraid it might not make it there in time for Christmas....but I sure hope it does!

First off, I want to tell you that I got the idea from a card on a Pinterest Board, a board by Create with Connie and Mary. I never could find the directions to the card, but I tried to duplicate as much as possible and added some of my own elements to it. The card they made is gorgeous! I wish I had that stamp, too! Anyway, here is my card:

At first, I made the card without the butterfly and the flowers, because I wanted to enter them into a couple of Facebook challenges, and then I added some more elements. As you can see, the base card has been embossed with a snow and bell theme. I embossed the tree with my Zing silver embossing powder, and also the banner sentiment. I mounted the tree with 3D foam circles onto another sheet of white mounting paper, then placed that on top of the silver glitter paper. I added a bow, butterfly, and 3 flowers onto the top right of the card. The flowers are from Secret Garden Crafts and the butterfly and Diamond Glass Glitter is from Reneabouquets.

I hope you enjoyed this little project of mine! And thank you so much for stopping by!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #154

Hello, crafty peeps! Today begins a new challenge over at Crafty Gals Corner!  So for this week, we are doing ANYTHING GOES. Our sponsor for this week is the amazing Faery Ink.
Prize: 3 Digital Images

So what I used for my project this week is a cute little image called Candy Cane Sitter. Here is the card I made:
I started off by cutting out my image and coloring her in with my new Ohuhu markers. I have to say, I really like them. I haven't had any trouble with them bleeding. I added some stickles onto her wings for some faery sparkle. I mounted her on ovals of white, green, and red. Then I added pearls on the top right, ribbon, and tinsel on the left side, and put a poinsettia on top of that. My sentiment was cut out using my Silhouette Portrait.

I hope that you will join us for the challenge! It's Anything Goes! Thank you for stopping by!

Createful Heart Digis & Designs Challenge #8!

Hello, crafters! Today I want to share with you my card I made for Createful Heart Digis & Designs, Challenge #8, using: Country Sara (1 of a set of 2)! She was such fun to work with! Here she is:

As you can see, I used a lot of glitter paper in my card. Winter makes me think of snow and ice, and when the sun shines down on all that, it's all SPARKLY!! And I love sparkly....but not ice, though!

So the foundation of the card was made with white cardstock. I then layered the silver glitter paper on top of that to give full coverage on the front of the card. I then added strips of blue glitter paper on the top and bottom. I colored Sara and kitty with Prismacolors and trimmed her outfit with Stickles. I added some blue snowflakes I had in my stash and added a sentiment "Winter Fun", since the theme for this challenge is Winter.

And there you have it! I hope that you will join our challenge! You just might be a winner!!

2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop 2

Hello, everyone! I want to share with you my card for the 2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop 2! I used an image from JessicaLynnOriginal, whom I have the pleasure of being a Design Team Member with. She has a set of 3 stamps (individually sold): Coffee, Tea, and Hot Chocolate. And of course I started with the Coffee! So, now let me show you my card:
I started out with coloring my digital using my Ohuhu markers and some other markers I have in my stash. I then framed my piece with blue glitter cardstock and mounted it onto black cardstock. I further embellished it with a wood piece on the left side that I embossed with silver and added flowers on the right side top corner.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you join in on the fun! Be sure to check out the links above.

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges 12/6/17-Anything Goes

Hello, fellow crafters! We've begun a new challenge over at The Crafty Gals Corner. This week the challenge is Anything Goes! We have 2 amazing Sponsors for us this week! They are:

Prize: 3 digital images

Prize: 3 digital images

Now let me share with you the image I used from Conie Fong. Here is my card using, Butterfly Kisses.

She's such a sweet image! I enjoyed coloring her! I was going to use my new Ohuhu markers, but I decided with the butterflies being so small, I might have more control with my pencils, since using markers is still new to me.

I used a white cardstock as my base, then added some glimmer pink paper to give it an edge, and then mounted a piece of DSP on top of the pink and added her on top. I added lace to the top and bottom, then added a butterfly and flower in the corners.

I hope that you will join in on the challenges this week! We love seeing you "getting your craft on"!
