Outlawz Color Challenge Week of November 6th, 2018

Holy cow! Is it already time for another week of challenges over at The Outlawz??  And over at the Color Challenge no less?? Yes, indeedy it is! And for the month of November, we have for our sponsor the amazing All Dressed Up!  (So be sure to check out the blog to see if you're a winner for the month of October!)

As you can see, we have chosen 3 colors for you to use...with a Twist of Just Add Lace! I love lace! Here is my card for this week's challenge:

I had won a digital stamp over at Conie Fong's Facebook page, so I thought she'd be perfect for lace! And the colors are amazing together (especially when you pull them from God's nature)!

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge! Color Challenges are one of my favorites!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges #174 - 3+ Layers!

Hello, crafters! And welcome to my blog and another challenge with Crafty Gals Corner Challenges! What an exciting challenge this is! I love adding layers....the challenge is: 3+ Layers. Our amazing sponsors for this week are:

Digital Delights by Louby Loo
Prize: $5 Gift Certificate

Prize: 2 Digital Images

Bugaboo Stamps
Prize: $12 Gift Certificate

Now on to my project for this challenge! I love Conie Fong images! Always have! And this one is no exception: Alanna.
I had such fun with this one! And I knew exactly what colors I wanted to make her! I also wanted to make her into a Christmas Tag. One of this first things I did was to print out 3 images. I cut out one using my Silhouette, and the 2nd one I fussy-cut only the head (that almost sounded gruesome!). The 3rd image, I only fussy-cut the flowers. I colored the same colors on all pieces. I then used 3D to layer the head onto the head of the full image. I loved the effect this gives with the shadowing!

Then I cut out my tag, layered it with Christmas paper from my stash, then layered again with a smaller piece on top of that (centering it), and then another strip of paper to make my 3rd layer (3+ layers). I added her on top of the 3rd layer, added some glitter glue on her flowers and bodice, and then added rows of gold rhinestones on the top and bottom of the tag.

For the tie at the top, I just used some really thin gold cord and slid some tiny "jingle bells" onto it.

Wow! What fun she was to do!

I hope that you will join us in this challenge! And I always appreciate your stopping by! Thank you!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges 12/6/17-Anything Goes

Hello, fellow crafters! We've begun a new challenge over at The Crafty Gals Corner. This week the challenge is Anything Goes! We have 2 amazing Sponsors for us this week! They are:

Prize: 3 digital images

Prize: 3 digital images

Now let me share with you the image I used from Conie Fong. Here is my card using, Butterfly Kisses.

She's such a sweet image! I enjoyed coloring her! I was going to use my new Ohuhu markers, but I decided with the butterflies being so small, I might have more control with my pencils, since using markers is still new to me.

I used a white cardstock as my base, then added some glimmer pink paper to give it an edge, and then mounted a piece of DSP on top of the pink and added her on top. I added lace to the top and bottom, then added a butterfly and flower in the corners.

I hope that you will join in on the challenges this week! We love seeing you "getting your craft on"!

Through the Craft Room Door Challenge 10/3/17

Hello, fellow crafters! Today started a new challenge over at Through the Craft Room Door! And this week we have Conie Fon Art & Design as our very special sponsor!

$10 Gift Certificate to Store
A bit about Conie Fong:
I am a self-taught artist and illustrator residing in California, USA with my husband and daughter. My passion for arts and crafts started at a very young age. I enjoy spending time creating digital art for craft lovers and people who love to color.  All digital stamps/images are available for purchased only at my etsy store, https://www.etsy.com/shop/ConieFongArt.

I love Conie's images, so I was excited when I found that's what we were using this week! For my project, I decided to use Molly's Winter Friends. So I decided to make a TeePee card with it:
Front - Stand Up

Side View

Close Up

Folded Flat for Mailing
This image is so sweet with her little snowman friend! I had a lot of fun making it! For details of this project, you'll need to go to the blog and find the project in the next upcoming magazine!

I hope you will join us for this challenge!
