Hello, fellow crafters! Today begins the new challenge (#8) for the month of July over at Papercraft Business Challenge Blog! We have an awesome prize to give away, too! A Magnolia Doohickey Tilda Doily!

I decided that, rather than making a card this time around, I would make a Julie Nutting tag, using some elements from a kit I had bought. Here is my tag:
I used some Tim Holtz Ink Oxides for the background and then sprinkled a little bit of water onto the tag. I then stamped a "paragraph" stamp onto the top of that. I colored my wooden Julie Nutting doll with alcohol markers, set her aside a bit to dry, and then found embellishments I wanted to use with her. After she dried, I cut a flower in half, glued them onto each side of the tag, then added her. The laces, etc, didn't take long to put together since I already had out what I wanted to use.

I hope that you will join us for this month's challenge! And check out each of the Design Teams projects! THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges #168 - Anything Goes!

Hellooooo, crafters! We have started a new challenge today. This week the challenge is: Anything Goes. And our amazing sponsors are:

Prize: Two Digital Images
& Two Coordinating Digital Paper Sets

Prize ~ The 3 Digital Images used by the DT

Prize ~ $15 Gift Certificate

Wow, how cool is that? Not one sponsor, but three! So let me share with you what I did, using Prom Avery from The Paper Nest Dolls

I really had fun playing with the colors on this one. I decided to add a crown to her, and used my laminator to put Gold Deco Foil on it and added some tiny rhinestones. I colored her in with my Prismacolors, but then added Stickles to her dress and the pink part of her hair (I thought that would be fun to give her a streak of pink hair).

I used my Silhouette Portrait to make the stairs card. So much easier for me than using my hands! I added a few elements (like the gold shoes and also a sentiment).

I hope that you will join us for this bi-monthly challenge! It's always a treat to see all the wonderful talent out there!

Thanks for stopping by!

So be sure to enter for your chance to win!

Now, before I show you what I did for this week's inspiration, here is this week's color board:
What a beautiful board to play with! This week's twist is: Add a Circle! Now let me show you the card I made:
For the life of me, I cannot find where I got this image. I searched and searched, and found no watermark or signature. So if you recognize it, please let me know by sending me a link to their site!

As you can see, my main colors are the turquoise, the green, and the lilac colors. And I do have a circle, it's just scalloped! If you look closer, I did an embossing with dragonflies within little circles. Pretty cool, I thought!

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge! Let's see what you'll do with the twist!

Outlawz Color Challenge June 5th, 2018!

Hello once again, fellow crafters! I'm here to share with you this week's The Outlawz Color Challenge and my project! First off, a big THANK YOU to Digistamps4Joy for sponsoring this week's challenge! The winner for this month will receive a $10 Gift certificate to the store! So be sure to enter for your chance to win!

This week's inspiration is a great Tic Tac Toe board to follow!
For my card, I chose the 3rd column on the left: Die Cutting, Yellow, and an Animal. So with that, I decided to use the Bookshelf Bunny!  Here is my card:
Isn't that a sweet little image? I was going to use a white background, but the Kraft paper seem to make the yellow stand out better than the white. For my die cut, I made a lace doily out of yellow paper. And the bunny was perfect for my animal! Needless to say, you can see there's a lot of yellow in my card!

I hope that you will join in on the fun! And thank you so much for stopping by! It means a lot to me!
Have a blessed day!

Crafter's Castle June Challenge!

Hello everyone! We have a new challenge for this month over at Crafter's Castle (#6)! This challenge's THEME IS: ANYTHING GOES, USING MORE THAN 1 FOLD! What a great challenge to work with!

We have the amazing AMB Illustrations for our sponsor this month! They're giving the winner 3 Single Packs from their store! How cool is that!? Please visit their Etsy shop to see all the wonderful printable papers and clipart they have. https://www.etsy.com/shop/AMBillustrations
Now on to my project: I was thinking that I wanted to do something special and different for these beautiful digital papers. Let me tell you, when I printed them out, they looked just like paper I had bought pre-printed. Yes, they graphics are THAT good! And I also decided I wanted to make it a 3D project...hence, I came up with a 3D Platform Stiletto Shoe! But to get more details about my project, check out my YouTube Video!
