(Please come by each time to check out the challenge as we will have a different

November Sponsor
This fortnight's challenge is an
Inspirational Photo chosen by AJ / Art Jypsy
with Caffeinated Colours and Sweets Tones to choose from.

So I went with a piece I had started coloring with the Kit and Clowder Class, using the coffee image. It was perfect for this inspirational piece! I used my Prismacolors to color it. Here it is:

Once I finally finished this piece, I just added some mounting pieces to the card and a sentiment. And she was done! I really love how it turned out, too! I hope that you can join us for this challenge!

Outlawz Color Challenge - October 22, 2019

Hello, fellow crafters! Today begins a new fortnight COLOR CHALLENGE over at the Outlawz Challenge Blog! And this month, we are being sponsored by the amazing The Paper Shelter

We have a great inspirational board picked out from fellow DT, Lori M for you to follow. Here it is:

So I got an image from The Paper Shelter called Monique. She is so pretty! I figured she would make a great card for the inspiration photo. Beautiful colors! And here is my card:
I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color her in, using colors from the inspiration. I added a couple of border strips to the left and some embellishments. I thought it would look cool to add some gold falling leaves to the left of her (I used my foil quill pen to do those). It didn't take long to put the card together once I knew what I wanted to do. So my colors were: orange, green, brown, with a twist of using gold foil leaves.

I hope that you will join us for this challenge! It was quite fun to do! Thanks for stopping in!

The Outlawz Color Challenge - 9/10/2019

Hi, crafty people! It's so good to "see" you again! The Outlawz Color Challenge has begun today, and I want to share with you what the challenge is and what I made. But first, our sponsor!

Sponsor :  Leigh SBDesigns

AND NOW THE INSPIRATION BOARD:

I got the loveliest image from LeighSBDesigns! She's called Sunshine in Her Hair, so I totally went with that. The colors in the board were perfect for that! Here is the card that I made:
Since she had sunshine in her hair, I colored her hair blonde. To get the other 2 colors, first I colored her eyes gray, then did a silver sentiment (close enough to gray!), and added 2 mounting papers - pink and gray, with a yellow on the bottom. I added pink and yellow flowers around the borders of the card too. I love coloring realistic photos, so this was right up my alley!

I hope that this will inspire you to join in on the challenge! Thanks for stopping by!

Outlawz Color Challenge June 5th, 2018!

Hello once again, fellow crafters! I'm here to share with you this week's The Outlawz Color Challenge and my project! First off, a big THANK YOU to Digistamps4Joy for sponsoring this week's challenge! The winner for this month will receive a $10 Gift certificate to the store! So be sure to enter for your chance to win!

This week's inspiration is a great Tic Tac Toe board to follow!
For my card, I chose the 3rd column on the left: Die Cutting, Yellow, and an Animal. So with that, I decided to use the Bookshelf Bunny!  Here is my card:
Isn't that a sweet little image? I was going to use a white background, but the Kraft paper seem to make the yellow stand out better than the white. For my die cut, I made a lace doily out of yellow paper. And the bunny was perfect for my animal! Needless to say, you can see there's a lot of yellow in my card!

I hope that you will join in on the fun! And thank you so much for stopping by! It means a lot to me!
Have a blessed day!

Outlawz Color Challenge - April 17th, 2018

Hello crafters! I'm so excited to be sharing with you another Outlawz Color Challenge project! This month our sponsor is
Our winner will get a $10GC!
And here is our photo inspiration chosen by fellow DT member, Kimberly.
Another awesome inspirational photo! Thank you, Kimberly! So you see, there are 5 colors, but with a Twist! Let's "Add Texture"! Here is the card that was inspired by the photo:
I used the image called The "O" Look. I love it! It's so cute!  As you can see, I have all the colors on the card. The texture I used was made by using an embossing folder, and the little shaker card I was given from someone through a swap.  Also, the raised stickers give it more texture. I used my markers to color him in.

I hope that you will join us for this challenge! So fun! Thanks for stopping by!

Outlawz Color Challenge Nov 21, 2017

Hello, crafty world! Today I want to share with you this week's Color Challenge with The Outlawz. And this week's amazing Sponsor is:
Prize: $12 Gift Certificate
So for this week's Photo Inspiration...picked by none other than yours truly...is the Color Orange with your pick of 2 other colors, and the Twist of Thanksgiving or a Thankful card. Here is the Photo Inspiration:
Aren't the colors beautiful in this? So I decided to use the pumpkins and leaves as my inspiration. I used a digital made by JessicaLynnOriginal. It was a free digital Jessica had on her Facebook page. I had downloaded and almost forgotten about it. Then with the photo inspiration, I thought this would be perfect!

I colored the pumpkin with my markers, but then came in and did some shading with my colored pencils. I added the leaf appliques that were made by KPKre8tions.   I made the base of the card in green, then the mounted piece in yellows and oranges. I then added all the elements of the card and added a sentiment.

I hope you join in on this week's challenge! And be sure to check out the Design Teams cards, too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Outlawz Color Challenge - November 7th

Howdy, crafty pardners! Today begins a new Color Challenge over at The Outlawz! Our Sponsor for this month is...........
$12 in Gift Certificate

And this week our very own DT Member, Kimberly, has chosen the Photo Inspiration! Here it is:
Let me tell you....one of the Design Team Members made her card using bench die cuts...and it was awesome! Why didn't I think of that? Haha. Seriously, check the DT inspiration cards! :)

I love this image I got from Createful Hearts Digis & Design! This one is called Pumpkin Patch Kitty.   I think this little kitty is wanting a fresh, homemade pumpkin pie, don't you??

I used my Silhouette Portrait to cut her out, along with the white leafy pieces up there. I printed out the sentiment from my Silhouette, but just used my Trimmer to cut it out. I simply layered pieces together and added a few embellishments, and she was done!

I hope you will join our Color Challenge this week! And thanks for stopping by!

Outlawz Color Challenge October 17th

Hello, fellow crafters! We have a new week for our Color Challenge over at The Outlawz! This month we have the amazing talents of Fabrika Fantasy as our sponsor! Cara, fellow DT member, has chosen this photo as our inspiration for this week:
Isn't that a beautiful picture? So irridescent, too! So for this project, I went with the Betta Fish Crowntail. I had the option of using a pre-colored digital, but this time I wanted to go ahead and color this little cutie so it would go more along the lines of the photo inspiration. Here it is:

As you hopefully can see here, the color of the fish represents those tones in the inspiration. I saw some irridescent blues in there too, so I thought the water effect on the background and on the body of the fish would be perfect for that. Also, the shape of the beads in the photo led me to using the circular shapes and the golds.

I hope that you will join us this week! The Design Team have come up with a variety of cards for you to be inspired by....many of which used the fish image!

Thank you for stopping by!

Outlawz Color Challenge Oct 10th

Hello, fellow crafters! It's time for another Color Challenge over at The Outlawz! This month we have the amazing talents of Fabrika Fantasy as our sponsor! And for our Photo Inspiration, Kimberly Pate, DT, has chosen the following colors with the twist of "Fall Leaves".

Now here is my card, using the image Autumn Owlet. He is so absolutely adorable! Look at those eyes! I actually put some Glossy Accents on his eyes to give him those bright "owl eyes". Lol.

Here is a closeup of him, so hopefully you can see his eyes look glassier.
Since we had the option of using either the pre-colored or uncolored digital, I chose the colored this time just to give myself a different way of making a card. So rather than just leaving it at that, I also used some of my Prismacolors on top of the pre-colored shadows, to give more depth. I also used stickles on the leaves. There are 3 layers, including the one with the digital. I also added leaves, outlined them, and added a sentiment on my card.

I hope that you find some inspiration to do your own card for this week's challenge! I love the color choices for this week, and I'm sure you will too! Thanks for stopping by!

I fell in love with the image I'm about to show you. So adorable! So without further adieu, here is first of all our Photo Inspiration:
One of our team members, Ursula, actually made this!! Isn't it gorgeous? So with you need to pick 2 other colors with the optional twist of adding a flower. Now here is my card (actually a gift card).
I used the image Poppy Fairy.  Isn't she adorable?? So I added 3 colors, rather than just 2: Green, Yellow, and Pink. As you can see, the flowers are added, plus the DSP has flowers on it...Poppy!

I hope you will join us in our challenge this week! We love looking at your creations!
