Prize: 3 Digital Stamps

I absolutely love my image from The Paper Shelter!  She's perfect for the Summer Theme! Here is what I did:

  The Paper Shelter

For the background to my card, I used Close to My Heart ink pads: Charcoal and Capri. I used my Tri-Colors to color in the image. For the paper, I used Paper Temptress (you'll find a lot of beautiful papers there!)

Though it's a pretty simple card, I felt that I wanted the image to stand out more than anything, as it's a sweet little image!

Be sure to join our challenge this month! Who knows? You just might be a winner! (Although we consider all winners in our eyes!)

Until next time,
Many blessings!

Make It Green was easy to do! I figured I would make this little cutie into a monochromatic colored card. :) Here she is:
Mirtillamente Digi Stamps & Papers

Isn't she a little cutie? I used my Tri- colored markers to color her. Then I placed her onto a multi-colored glitter paper. It was perfect for this card. I then added the sentiment "I feel so lucky".

I hope you will join us for this months challenge! Many blessings!

Once I finished the coloring, I found paper that would go along with the colors. Oh, and I also used ink oxide to add color to the sky area. Here she is:

Using:  Poinsettias
LeAnn's World 101

I absolutely LOVE this image! I love doing Christmas cards anyway, but when I saw this image, I just had to have it! I used my TriBlend Markers to color it, and I also cut out vines from glitter paper and added the white glitter paper to give it a snowy affect.  I used a die cut for the curved pieces on the card. Something a little different and unique. I made this for a friend...I hope she likes it!

And I hope that you will join us for the new challenge! Thank you so much for stopping by! See you next time!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges #218 - Easter/Spring

Hello, everyone! And welcome to another new challenge over at Crafty Gals Corner Challenge Blog! For this month, our theme is..................

Easter / Spring

And our amazing sponsors for this challenge are:
(in alphabetical order)

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

Prize: 3 Digital Stamps

So for this challenge, my sister had given me some duplicate pieces that she was going to throw away. Instead, she decided that I could probably make something with the pieces and gave them to me. Each piece was about 4"x6" and looked like they had windows (2 windows), so I treated them as such and made a little "Garden Window Card".

I used my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers to do all the coloring of my digital. I then stenciled "brick" onto one of the pieces to mimic the "outside wall" of the card. Then, I placed acetate on the back of the brick wall, added "wall paper" (Eat Play Love Paper Packet and then glued the whole piece onto the last "window" section to give it stability.

Once that was done, I was able to put my images on the top so it'd look like there was perhaps a flower garden outside next to the windows with a beautiful butterfly!

Here is my finished project:

Well, there you have it! I hope that you enjoy my little window card! And I really hope that you will join us in this month's challenge! Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge - January 2020

Oh my goodness! Has 2019 already come and gone?? I can't believe we've already started a brand new year....2020!! I hope that last year was good to you, and that this New Year will bring you a lot of blessings!

So for this Crafty Gals Corner January challenge, we are "celebrating" winter! Our theme for this challenge is:
Winter Fun

And our sponsor for this challenge is:

Prize: 3 Digital Stamps

Wow! Did you see that the winner will receive 3 Digital Stamps as the prize? I hope that you will join us for your chance to win the prize! Now let's check out what I made for this month's challenge. I used an image called Penguin Friends.  I think the penguins are just so adorable!  Here's my card:

I love the sentiment for this card! It was perfect for the image! Although I'm not a big fan of winter/cold weather, cuddling is one of the benefits for staying warm throughout the season! (I don't know if I really need a reason to just hug, as I am a huggy kind of person anyway...lol.)

My card is pretty CAS. I basically just mounted her onto a card foundation with 2 colors, black and pink. I hope the pink is showing up for you ok. I'm working with 2 monitors, and the one is more pink than the other.

I originally had her in blues, but for some reason it didn't set well with me. I like the pink better, in this case. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color her.

I hope that you will find this inspiration for you to join our challenge! Thanks for stopping in!

Blessings,

Outlawz Color Challenge - October 22, 2019

Hello, fellow crafters! Today begins a new fortnight COLOR CHALLENGE over at the Outlawz Challenge Blog! And this month, we are being sponsored by the amazing The Paper Shelter

We have a great inspirational board picked out from fellow DT, Lori M for you to follow. Here it is:

So I got an image from The Paper Shelter called Monique. She is so pretty! I figured she would make a great card for the inspiration photo. Beautiful colors! And here is my card:
I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color her in, using colors from the inspiration. I added a couple of border strips to the left and some embellishments. I thought it would look cool to add some gold falling leaves to the left of her (I used my foil quill pen to do those). It didn't take long to put the card together once I knew what I wanted to do. So my colors were: orange, green, brown, with a twist of using gold foil leaves.

I hope that you will join us for this challenge! It was quite fun to do! Thanks for stopping in!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #195 - Summer Fun!

Hello, everyone! And welcome to my blog! Today I want to share with you my card for Challenge #195: Summer Fun

Our sponsor for this challenge is:

Prize: 3 Digital Stamps
What a great fun challenge this is! I love The Paper Shelter! They have beautiful images! And what's more, if you don't have the time and you need a card in a hurry, they provide pre-colored images! How cool is that! Now here is my card - Cutest Ice Cream Cart.

With all the health issues going on, a death in the family, etc.....the pre-colored card was perfect for me! All I needed to do was to print it out and add some sentiments to it. Plus put her on some Paper Temptress card stock, add some bling, and add some Diamond glass glitter.

I hope that you will join us for this challenge! We also love seeing what you create!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #191 - May Flowers

Hello, crafters! And welcome to another Crafty Gals Corner Challenge! I'm here today to share with you my project as a Designer with Crafty Gals. The theme for this challenge is: May Flowers (Incorporate flowers in your project)

Our sponsor for this challenge is:
Prize: 3 Digital Stamps

I hope that you will join us and share your project! Now, take a look at mine:
I admit I have used this digital, The Ladyonce before, but she's such a fun digital I had to take a go at her again! I used my Spectrum Noir color markers on her. I also used papers from The Paper Temptress. I took a Sizzix Die Cut that add flowers and leave on it, and placed it behind her. I forgot to angle the die cut to get more of the floral to show, but you can still see some peeking through. I layered it on top of the white, and then added my colored digital. I then sprayed some liquid adhesive on after I placed her on top, and then sprinkled a little glitter on. Then I added the flower and floral lace to the side.

I hope that this will inspire you to create! And thank you for stopping by!

This week Jacqui has chosen the colour palette for the challenge.
There are 5 colours in the palette and she's added a twist of - fun fold. Check out each of the designers to see examples of the Fun Fold! Now here is the photo inspiration for this challenge:
This was such a fun card to do! I got the idea of mine from a YouTube video by Dawn's Stampin' Up! It's called a Diamond Top Fold Card. Be sure to check out how to do this easy but so cool fold card!

Now for my card:

I won't go into the details on how to do the fold, as the video shows how to do that (and it's a great video!). But I LOVE the elephants! I had a lot of fun decorating them, too!

I hope that you will join us for this challenge! And most of all, HAVE FUN!

This week AJ has chosen made a TIC TAC TOE Board
Each square has a few colors &
themes you can choose from...
Choose a line, be it horizontal, vertical or
diagonal and let us know what that line is ...
Isn't that a beautiful  board? Now here is what I did, going from bottom left to top right:
As you can see, I have a lot of embellishments going on here, without trying to overload it. I used the background papers from The Paper Shelter.  LOVE them!

New Color Challenge - The Outlawz 12-18-2018

Hello once again, fellow crafters! And to those who are just starting out with your crafting....Welcome! We have begun a new Color Challenge over at The Outlawz. We have an amazing sponsor for this month, The Paper Shelter.
Prize : 3 Digital Stamps
And for this week's photo inspiration, fellow DT Member, Sharon, created this beautiful board to follow (be sure to check out the twist).

Now on to my card! I created my card using Christmas Candy Fairy by The Paper Shelter. She is adorable! With their images, you get a choice of using either a non-colored or pre-colored image. Because there's been a lot of sickness and other things going on, I chose the pre-colored image. Saved me a lot of time! Thank you, TPS! The only thing I did differently, was to color over some of the peppermint to make it fit with the theme. Here is my card:
I hope you like it....and I hope you will join us this week! Thank you for stopping by!
