I am using the digital image from Polkadoodles: Summer Dreams Winnie. She's adorable! So of course I printed her out and colored her with my Tri-Color Markers (love those!) Once I finished the coloring, I found paper that would go along with the colors. Oh, and I also used ink oxide to add color to the sky area. Here she is:

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #228 - Add a Heart!

Hello, fellow crafty people! I am soooo very glad and thankful to be back! After being out for awhile due to illnesses, I am finally able to craft again. I'm a little bit shaky, but at least I'm able to try! So, on to the Crafty Gals Corner Challenge! The theme for this challenge is:

Now on to my card from Stampers Delights, Rose 1 . Here it is:

Considering the fact I hadn't colored in awhile and was so sick, I think it looks pretty good. I love doing flowers, and this one is a perfect digital for someone who loves flowers. I used my Tri-Blends to color the image. Once I was done and had my foundation with my matting pieces cut out, I embossed the sides of the colored paper with an embossing folder, and distressed the raised areas of the embossed part.

I then put 3D foam dots underneath the flower to give it more dimension. Adding the hearts was easy to do and gave it more eye appeal. I then added glittered rhinestones.
