The Outlawz Color Challenge Week of October 23rd!

Hello, crafters! Well, after being absent for what seems to have been an eternity....I am back creating with The Outlawz Color Challenges!  There has been a lot going on in my life, and still happening, but it is time to get going again! So for my first project, I chose this cute little mermaid! But first, here is our amazing sponsor for the month of October:

What a beautiful array of blues! Now on to my mermaid card:

She's such a cutie! The rhinestones below are really a brighter blue than what they show up as here, more like the ones above her head (I used those as her bubbles).

Outlawz Color Challenge June 19, 2018

Hello once again, fellow crafters! I'm here to share with you this week's The Outlawz Color Challenge and my project! Now, before I show you what I did for this week's inspiration, here is this week's color board:

What a beautiful board to play with! This week's twist is: Add a Circle! Now let me show you the card I made:

For the life of me, I cannot find where I got this image. I searched and searched, and found no watermark or signature. So if you recognize it, please let me know by sending me a link to their site! 

As you can see, my main colors are the turquoise, the green, and the lilac colors. And I do have a circle, it's just scalloped! If you look closer, I did an embossing with dragonflies within little circles. Pretty cool, I thought!

This week's inspiration is a great Tic Tac Toe board to follow! 

For my card, I chose the 3rd column on the left: Die Cutting, Yellow, and an Animal. So with that, I decided to use the Bookshelf Bunny!  Here is my card:

Isn't that a sweet little image? I was going to use a white background, but the Kraft paper seem to make the yellow stand out better than the white. For my die cut, I made a lace doily out of yellow paper. And the bunny was perfect for my animal! Needless to say, you can see there's a lot of yellow in my card!

On to my card! I decided to go from Top Left to Bottom Right:

I love working with lace, ribbons, pearls....my favorite type of embellishments! And this one fit the bill for me. Do you see the 4 corners there, all decorated? I was given a bunch of stickers that are just so awesome! They sure came in handy for this card! And the image was a freebie given by Sweet Escapes Digitals when they sponsored a coloring class given by Kit and Clowder.

Another awesome inspirational photo! Thank you, Kimberly! So you see, there are 5 colors, but with a Twist! Let's "Add Texture"! Here is the card that was inspired by the photo:

I used the image called The "O" Look. I love it! It's so cute!  As you can see, I have all the colors on the card. The texture I used was made by using an embossing folder, and the little shaker card I was given from someone through a swap.  Also, the raised stickers give it more texture. I used my markers to color him in.
