Outlawz Color Challenge July 31, 2018!

Hello, fellow crafters! Today begins a new Color Challenge over at The Outlawz Challenge Blog! And our Sponsor for the Month of July is Mari's Digi Stamps!
Prize: 3 images
So for this week we have the inspiration of a monochromatic "strip of color". Please use at least 3 of the colors within the strip. Other than that, anything goes. Here is the color chart:

The colors are so beautiful! So I went into the Mari's Digis Store, and found an awesome digital...Dance. I thought she was so cute! I just had to have her! Her is my card:
All the colors are within the color chart....I didn't think it would be easy at first, but once I got started with her, it all came together.

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge! And thanks for stopping by!

Outlawz Color Challenge - July 24th - Tic Tac Toe!

Hello, ladies and gents! All you crafty people! It's time once again for another week of Color Challenges over at The Outlawz! For the month of July, our sponsor is the amazing

And with that, comes our new inspiration for the week....A Tic Tac Toe Board! Here it is:

For my project I chose the middle horizontal row. The Beach Chair, the Flip Flops, and the Color with texture on my project.
I am not a "beachy" person, but I was able to get it done, and it was what I wanted. How about that?? I used black shimmer paper from Paper Temptress. It's so gorgeous in person! I used my Silhouette to cut out all my images and sentiment, plus texture paste, glitter, and microbeads for the part of the Color with Texture.

I hope that you will join us for the challenge this week! Lots of great inspiration by the Design Team! And thank you so much for stopping by!

So show us what inspires you! We love seeing your work!

The Outlawz Color Challenge - July 3rd, 2018

Hello, fellow crafters! It's me, Scrapbookingmamaw, and it's time once again for our Weekly Color Challenge over at The Outlawz! And for this month, we have the amazing sponsor, Mari Digis Stamps!

So for this challenge, we have a great July 4th Inspirational Photo with a Twist: ADD A BOW! Here it is:
What a fun board! So here is what I did for this week's challenge:
What a cute digital she is! She's called I Love Embroidering. So with the red, white, and blue colors, I decided to color her clothing in those colors, and make her hair a pretty redhead. And of course, top it off with a blue bow, right?? After I colored her in with my Prismacolors, I put her on top of an oval red glitter paper, then on top of a white background with a red base. I added a red gingham bow (from an awesome friend of mine!), and a few embellishments.

With her sewing, and it being a celebration of Independence Day, she really reminded me of Betsy Ross making the flag.

I hope that you will find this card inspirational enough that you will want to join in on our challenges! And have a lot of fun with it, too! Thanks for stopping by!
