Outlawz Color Challenge - June 18th

We have begun another fortnight of challenges over at
Our June 2019 Sponsor is

This week Cara has chosen a three colour palette with an optional twist of adding a bird.
I love this color board! And I love peacocks! We were given a beautiful peacock image called Pretty Peacocks. Since I love peacocks, this was a fun image to do! Here it is:
All the papers that I used came from Paper Temptress. I used my Prismacolors on this image. It took me a little time to do it, but it was well worth it!

I hope that you will join us in on the challenge! You have 2 weeks, so hopefully you'll get a chance to enter. And thank you so much for stopping by!

The Outlawz Color Challenge - February 12, 2019

Hi, fellow crafters! I'm so glad you dropped in! Today begins a new challenge over at The Outlawz Color Challenge! And for this challenge, we have the amazing Imagine That Digistamp as our sponsor! (And they currently have a sale going on!)

Imagine That Digistamp

Prize: $12 gift certificate

Here is our board picked by fellow team member, Ursula:

As you can see, the board has one main color for you to use, so you can pick at least 2 other colors for your project. AND....the twist is make your own background! Here is what I did:
The image is called January Carnation by Imagine That Digistamp. To make my own background, I printed off on my laser printer a piece of white cardstock with black and white colors. I then took some Gina K Designs Sparkling Silver foil and placed it on top of the black and white, ran it through my laminator, and Ouila! I had a new background full of colors! I then layered everything together, coloring my image with Prismacolors.

I hope that you will join us for this challenge! And thank you for stopping by!

The Outlawz Color Challenge - July 3rd, 2018

Hello, fellow crafters! It's me, Scrapbookingmamaw, and it's time once again for our Weekly Color Challenge over at The Outlawz! And for this month, we have the amazing sponsor, Mari Digis Stamps!

So for this challenge, we have a great July 4th Inspirational Photo with a Twist: ADD A BOW! Here it is:
What a fun board! So here is what I did for this week's challenge:
What a cute digital she is! She's called I Love Embroidering. So with the red, white, and blue colors, I decided to color her clothing in those colors, and make her hair a pretty redhead. And of course, top it off with a blue bow, right?? After I colored her in with my Prismacolors, I put her on top of an oval red glitter paper, then on top of a white background with a red base. I added a red gingham bow (from an awesome friend of mine!), and a few embellishments.

With her sewing, and it being a celebration of Independence Day, she really reminded me of Betsy Ross making the flag.

I hope that you will find this card inspirational enough that you will want to join in on our challenges! And have a lot of fun with it, too! Thanks for stopping by!

The Outlawz Color Challenge April 3, 2018

Hello, everyone! Today begins a new challenge over at The Outlawz Color Challenge!  And for the month of  April we have the amazing sponsor

Our winner will get a $10GC!
Now let's take a look at our Inspiration Photo chosen by fellow teammie Ursula!
I absolutely love the colors in this photo! And then the added twist....Add Metal! Wow! What a great combination! Now let me share with you my project. I decided I'd make a tag out of my digital:
I love this floral image. It's such a pretty image to work with. I cut out the tag foundation with a light chipboard piece, added paper and a decor on top of that. I colored my image with my Prismacolors. Of course, it needed some lace and trim, right?? My metal pieces are the butterfly and the metal leaves underneath the rose. Oh, FYI, I used the Gold metallic Prismacolor pencil for the metal bucket too.

I hope that you will join us for the challenge this week! Thanks for stopping by!

Createful Heart Digis & Designs Challenge #8!

Hello, crafters! Today I want to share with you my card I made for Createful Heart Digis & Designs, Challenge #8, using: Country Sara (1 of a set of 2)! She was such fun to work with! Here she is:

As you can see, I used a lot of glitter paper in my card. Winter makes me think of snow and ice, and when the sun shines down on all that, it's all SPARKLY!! And I love sparkly....but not ice, though!

So the foundation of the card was made with white cardstock. I then layered the silver glitter paper on top of that to give full coverage on the front of the card. I then added strips of blue glitter paper on the top and bottom. I colored Sara and kitty with Prismacolors and trimmed her outfit with Stickles. I added some blue snowflakes I had in my stash and added a sentiment "Winter Fun", since the theme for this challenge is Winter.

And there you have it! I hope that you will join our challenge! You just might be a winner!!

SheepSki Designs Christmas Fairy Twist Card

Hello! Welcome to my blog! Today, I just had to share with you this cute little new fairy I got from SheepSki Designs, titled Christmas Fairy.  She is just so cute, wanting to touch the Christmas Ornament on that tree! I had a lot of fun coloring her! I decided to make her into a Twist Card. Here is my card:

I used my Silhouette to cut out the card shapes, then colored her in with my Prismacolors, used Distress Oxide (Candied Apple), then used glitter on her wings, around her, and the ornament. I pre-printed the sentiment on the top mounting piece before cutting it out, using my Silhouette.

I hope that you enjoy it, and thank you for stopping by! By the way, there is also a coupon code over at her Etsy shop, so be sure to check that out!

I had a very hard time choosing which image to use, but in the end I finally decided to use Time to Shine by All Dressed Up. What a cutie this image is! Now here's my card:
Isn't she an adorable image?? So, with the theme being "Add a Star", I decided to go with making a huge star in the background, using my Silhouette to not only cut out the star, but to print out the design for my paper. I then thought she needed more bling, so I added the pearl and rhinestone star you see in the top right corner and added streams of rays coming from it. For the little lady, I used my Prismacolrs to color her up and added some Stickles and Wink of Stella to help her shine more. I used a blue glitter pen to trace around the words "Time to Shine". And what is shine if there isn't even more bling, right? So on to adding more bling around the edging of the card!

I sure hope you enjoyed this little card of mine! And I appreciate your stopping by! I read each and every comment that comes through...I would love to know your thoughts!

Please join us in this week's challenge! We'd love to have you.
