Crafty Gals Corner Challenges - #193- You're the Man

Hello, everyone! And welcome to this fortnight of challenges....#193 in fact! The theme for this challenge is:
You're the Man
(In honor of Father's Day, make a masculine card)

Our sponsors for this challenge are:

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

Prize ~ $5 Gift Certificate

So here we are, #193 challenge...getting closer and closer to #200!! Wow! I can hardly believe it! So for this challenge, we're making it masculine. I got the image Vintage Ride from LeAnn's World 101. And I really had fun with it!

Instead of making a typical card for Father's Day, I decided to do a bit of wall art for my honey. I made a mixed media background, and placed my car right into the center. Here is my project:

I think he deserves a little something different now and then. He's always been such a big support to my art habit!

I hope that this will inspire you to join in on this challenge! Let's see what you create!

Thank you for stopping by!

TTCRD Anything Goes - Week of February 5th, 2019

Hi, fellow crafters! I hope that you are having a good beginning of a New Year! I can't believe a month has already gone by! And another week of challenges begins here at Through the Craft Room Door! For this week, we have the amazing sponsorship of
A little Bio about our Sponsor:
Gecko Galz is a digital craft products shop that was started by a group of paper artist and designers who wanted products that they could not find anywhere else. They wanted to bring their love of paper arts and altered art works to others and inspire them with beautiful papers, stamps and ephemera. The idea of Gecko Galz came to fruition in 2012 when they opened their shop on Etsy and since then have offered hundreds of products, ideas and classes to others world wide.

PRIZE: $25 shopping spree with Gecko Galz at the Etsy shop.

I love their silhouette images! Very beautiful! Now take a look at my card:

I love how she's reaching out to the bird! What a sweet moment! She was fun to make!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #171 - Tropical Colors!

Hello, ladies and hopefully, some gents too! We are starting our first challenge for the month of August with some amazing sponsors! This time, the theme is: TROPICAL COLORS! Here are our sponsors:

Our sponsors this week are:

Prize: 3 Digital Images

Prize: 2 Digital Images

Prize ~ 5 Digital images

Wow! It was so hard to pick one image to do for this challenge, as all 3 sponsors are fantastic! But in the end, I have chosen to do Beach Baby by Creative Bug.  What a cute title for a cute little image. So here is my card:
There it is, in all it's Tropical colors glory! Lol! I'd say there are plenty of them on there, wouldn't you? I added some diamond glass glitter on the sand to make it more "sandy" looking, but the picture here doesn't show that. However, the shadowing on the sand from the artist, made it look sandy. So...it was all good! I did use Bone China Ink Oxide for the cloudy background.

I hope that you will  join us for this challenge over at Crafty Gals Corner Challenge Blog! See you there!

The Outlawz Color Challenge March 20, 2018

Hello, crafters! I'm a little late posting today. It's been one of those days with so many things to do and so little time. But...here I am with a new card for The Outlawz Color Challenge this week! Our amazing sponsor for the month of March is
Our winner will get 3 digis of choice from the store!
How awesome is that! And now for the photo inspiration this week:
Make project using 1 shade
Now let me share with you my card for this week. I had a hard time choosing which image I wanted to use, as there are so many gorgeous ones! And I knew I could pick the frog...he's green right? But I wanted to go for something "out of the box", so I chose Lilly.  Here is my card:

See what I mean? Lol! Outside of the box! So as you can see, there is a lot of green in there...a lot of shades! At first, I felt a little intimidated. But then I thought...hey, it's digital! I can re-print it if I need to! So I carried on! And I'm happy with the outcome!

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge! Lots of fun over there!

Thank you for stopping by!

Createful Heart Digis & Designs

Hello, crafters! Today I want to share with you a new Challenge over at Createful Heart Digis & Designs. But first, some new information. Createful Heart is now doing challenges on a monthly basis, rather than a bi-monthly basis. Still the same great prizes, though! Along with that, every mid-month to mid-month, a Facebook Sketch Challenge will be going on. So you still have 2 great challenges to enter each month.

For this month's blog challenge, we will be doing an Anything Goes with the option of Add Green or a Shamrock. I decided to do both! Here is my card:
I decided to use my Prismacolors on this card, rather than the markers. And I wasn't sure if making the butterfly green along with the leaves would work, but I decided to go ahead and give it a go. And I'm happy with it. I wanted the digital piece to "pop" out, so I thought some gold glitter paper would do the trick. As you can see, I have Shamrocks on all for corners of the top piece.

I do hope that you will join us for this month's challenge! Thanks for stopping by!
