Crafty Gals Corner - Christmas in July #245

Hello, crafters! It's time for another  monthly challenge! The theme for our current challenge is ...

~ Christmas in July ~

Our sponsor for this challenge is:

                       Conie Fong

               Prize ~ 3 Single Digis

Conie Fong is a self-taught artist residing in California, USA with her husband, daughter, pet hamster and fishes. In her early childhood years, she was inspired by every kind of art and crafts. She loved watching demonstrations by artists on the streets and at festivals and spent most of her free time perusing arts and crafts books in the library, drawing, crafting and experimenting with her art supplies at home. Conie first started sharing her art with the world by selling ACEO reprints of her ACEO paintings of fairies, mermaids, and kitty art on Ebay in 2010. She was a full time account manager for a University before becoming a full time mom and part time artist. She currently enjoys spending time with her family traveling, exploring the outdoors, and designing beautiful, cute, and magical art for craft and coloring lovers.

Conie is offering all crafters a 25% discount, on her digis, during our sponsored month. Now is the time to go take a peek and really celebrate Christmas in July by spoiling yourself with a few of Conie's beautiful digis. The discount code is JULYSPONSOR25.

Now, let me show you what I made.

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges - #244

Hello, everyone! And welcome to our challenge! The theme for our current challenge is ...

~ Fancy Folds for Dad ~

Our sponsors for this challenge are:
(listed in alphabetical order)

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

Last Minute Manda
Prize ~ 3 Sets of Digis

So I chose this cute fella for my Father's Day Card. Isn't he a fun-looking Dad? He is Using:
World's Best Dad from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. Here he is:

This fold was a lot easier to make than I thought it was going to be.  I simply took the basic card fold size (5 1/2 x 4 1/4), added a mat to the top, then cut in half diagonally. I then measured my piece with the digi, and doubled in length so it would fold over the top of the card (seen in top left photo). And he was ready to go, once I placed a sentiment on top.

I hope you will join us for this challenge over at Crafty Gals Corner Challenges! You just might be a winner!

Blessings, Jeanie Ellis

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

So for this month, I got the Valerie's Secret Garden from Colour of Love. She is so gorgeous!

I love this image! She is so pretty and such fun to color! Using my Tri-blend markers, I colored her and the rest of the image. I wanted it to look springy, but for some reason I had trouble with my yellow on the flowers, so I just went with it. The sky background was colored with Distress Ink, Broken China.

I then added the yellow mat with the pink mat under it, and used white for my base. I did some glittering over the image.

I hope that you will join us for our challenge! We can't wait to see what you do!

The Paper Shelter
Prize:
3 Digital Stamps

Make It Green was easy to do! I figured I would make this little cutie into a monochromatic colored card. :) Here she is:
Mirtillamente Digi Stamps & Papers

Isn't she a little cutie? I used my Tri- colored markers to color her. Then I placed her onto a multi-colored glitter paper. It was perfect for this card. I then added the sentiment "I feel so lucky".

I hope you will join us for this months challenge! Many blessings!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges - Add a Heart

Hello, all you beautiful crafters! We are beginning a new challenge today over at the Crafty Gals Corner. I hope that you will join us! The theme for this challenge is:

~ Add a Heart! ~

Our sponsors for this challenge are:

Prize ~ 3 Sets of Digis

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

A note from Rachelle Anne Miller:
I am an artist & designer living in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in South Australia with my husband and three amazing children! I love to create and am especially drawn to all things cute. I've worked on children's books, greeting cards, craft supplies, children's room decor, tech accessories, and more. I love to bring out joy and imagination in my art and create something a little different to inspire and make you smile.

So I've chosen the digital Apple Picking stamp. It's adorable! Here is what I did with it...

I colored this little cutie with my Tricolor Blend Spectrum Noir markers. All I did was print it out onto an A2 card, then color it. I sprinkle a little glitter on it, but unfortunately, that's not showing up. (sad face). And it has 2 hearts on it, so I'm happy with the way it turned out!

I hope that you will join us! It's always a pleasure to see what you all have created! Bye for now!

Blessings,

Crafty Gals Corner Challenges

Hello, fellow crafters! Well, I'm back, trying to get into the "swing of things" after my husband's passing. It's been difficult for me, even though I know I'll see him again some day. I really miss him. But, I know he would want me to continue on with my crafting, so here I am. I've been a Crafty Gals Corner Challenges DT for a long time, so it was only fitting for me to start with this team. They are super awesome! Now, without further delay, here is the theme for this challenge:

~ Winter Fun ~

SheepSki Designs
Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

I used the image, Snowboarding by SheepSki Designs #164. I've always loved the beautiful artwork that she does. And it was so fun to work on this image. It's a simple card, and yet so effective! Here is what I did:

Isn't it just adorable?? He looks very happy and having a lot of fun, sliding by to say Thank you! I used glitter on the mat behind the snowman, and a red mat behind that. Colored the snowman with my Tri-Blend Markers, added the sentiment, and I was done! Pretty simple, isn't it?

These challenges are once every month. You may enter up to 3 cards in each challenge. I do hope that you will join us!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a blessed day and Happy Crafting!

Blessings,
Jeanie Ellis, Scrapbookingmamaw
