Here is a challenge I did for the ScrapbookingwithMe Boutique Facebook Page. The challenge was to celebrate the man in your life by creating a masculine themed altered box. I found this one to be very challenging, because I'm used to doing girly things and putting lots of bling, lace, etc. on the project! Although it is simply done, it took me a lot of thought. Lol.
I used the Finnabair Turquoise Glass Beads, Stampendous Fran-tage Chunky Metal Embossing Enamel, Chameleon Markers, TH mini-distress inks, and the man with the top hat is from the wooden pieces in the Debutante (I believe that's the name)...all from the boutique. The inside sectional piece (for coins, etc), is the box that the wooden pieces came in. I couldn't bear to throw it out so I had to use it somewhere! grin emoticon Everything else is from my stash.

A couple more projects I did recently, using items from the Scrapbookingwithme Boutique. The cross is made of wood, but I used the Shimmerz watercolors inklings to make it look metal. I embossed a silver metal flower with gold and adhered it to the cross with hot glue. The flower/butterfly (actually smaller than it looks), is done with the Chameleon markers and glass beads from the Boutique, and glass glitter from Reneabouquets. Visit these sites...they are awesome! (Links on main page)
