Crafty Gals Corner Challenge 100-Anything Goes

Now I want to share with you my card. Since we were able to do an Anything Goes using an image we pick, I decided to go with the cute little bird from Kajsansscrapblog. If you follow her link, you'll find several free images with these cute birds! Adorable!

I started off by first using my Prismacolors on the image. Once that was done, I mounted the image onto some 6x6 Silver Laser Lustre. I used some Glossy Accents on the candle to make it seem more realistic. I then layered all that onto some Lemon Yellow Vellum, and in turn mounted that onto some Cream Velvet Touch from Paper Temptress. I had some red cardstock in my stash, so I put all those pieces onto it as my card base. I used my leafy vine die cut to put several around the image, and a poinsettia in the middle of those. Placing pearls onto the vines made them "pop" out more. I then simply cut out a sentiment from some Kraft Vintage Christmas paper and placed it in the top left corner of my card. And then it was done! It was pretty simple to make, really. But the end result was exactly what I was looking for!
