Outlawz Color Challenge 12/20/16

Hello, crafty peeps! Today starts the new week of a Color Challenge over at The Outlawz! The color theme is White on White with one Neutral (black, brown or tan) and one accent color of choice. So for my choice, I chose the black neutral with a pink accent color. I love this image! I just discovered this digital website and am so happy with the results! Here is the website for Pink Gem Designs and the link to this adorable image here.
So now let me tell you how I did this card process. 😀Of course, first and foremost, I colored my image. You might think it didn't take long to color it, but I actually used my White Prismacolor all over the image first. Then I did the pink. I find that it's best to used the lighter color before the black because otherwise it will "bleed" into the other color. Once I was done with that, I used sugar Stickles to add the "icey" look to the igloo and snow. While that was drying, I die cut some leaves and poinsettias. I cut a white mounting cardstock piece and ran it through my Big Shots to emboss using a Christmas image. I cut a Spellbinders die cut (looks like a book) that I had received from a friend used 3-D foam on the bears to put them on top of the die cut. Then layered everything else together, using pink cardstock as my card base.

I was very happy with this piece. I love white on white! It makes it look elegant and classy!

I hope you join us this week! So be sure to head on over there!

Blessings and Merry Christmas, Jeanie Ellis - Scrapbookingmamaw
