Crafty Gals Corner Challenges #194 - Polka Dots and/or Stripes

The theme for this challenge is: Polka Dots and/or Stripes
Our sponsors for this challenge are:

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

Prize ~ 1 digital image (non colored)

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate (Images Only)

Wow! Three chances to win! For my project, I chose Penelope 3 from Oddball Art. I love the Polka Dots/Stripes Theme! I chose to use both for my card. Here she is:
Isn't she a cutie?? After coloring her with my Spectrum Noir markers, I layered her on top of the designer papers: polka dots and stripes. Then I added a sentiment at the top as a banner. It's really a CAS card, as once it was colored, it was pretty simple to put together. But I really like it! I hope that it inspires you to join in on the challenge!!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I can't wait to see what you create!

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

Prize ~ $6 Gift Certificate

I had a lot of fun making this card, using the image Sewing Avery by The Paper Nest Dolls! Here it is:
I have a sister who has been doing a lot of quilting lately, and when she saw this card, she just had to have it for her granddaughter, who is also into quilting now! And as you can see, she is a CAS, for sure! This card can be a birthday card, thinking of you, celebration, etc...for the crafter! Love it!

Thanks for stopping by! I sure hope that you will join us in the challenges!!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge - Thankful

Hello, crafters! Today begins a new challenge for us over at Crafty Gals Corner Challenge Blog!  This week the challenge is: Thankful

Our sponsors this week are:

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

OddBall Art
Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

Bugaboo Stamps

Prize ~ $12 Gift Certificate

Wow! What an array of sponsors! Love it! So much to choose from! But for me, I chose these amazing butterflies from Morgan's Art World - Garden 16.
Here is my card:

As you can see, I tried to match up the colors of the papers (from Paper Temptress) with as close to the colors of the butterflies as possible. And it seemed to work great! Yay! The blue paper is a textured paper....very fun to work with too! And those butterflies...wow! They were gorgeous and because of the shadowing on the images, it makes it so much easier to color.

I hope that this has inspired you to join us for this challenge! We love seeing your cards and projects!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #164 - Anything Goes!

Hello everyone! It's time for another challenge over at Crafty Gals Corner Challenges! This one is #164 - Anything Goes! This week we have 3 amazing sponsors! They are:

Polkadoodles
Prize ~ $15 Gift Certificate

Lemon Shortbread
Prize ~ 3 Digital images

OddBall Art
Prize ~ 3 Digital images

How awesome is that??!! Three sponsors for this week! So now I want to share with you my project for this bi-weekly challenge! My image is from Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps called Butterfly Girl. And I absolutely love her! Since this is an Anything Goes challenge, I decided this time around I'd make a tag. I love making tags, and my supply of them are proof! Haha! So here she is:

Without going into a lot of detail, I simply cut her out and colored her in with my Prismacolors. I used my Silhouette to cut the open design tag out and covered the back of it. I also added lace, and colored a Scrapiniec Chipboard I got from Crafty City. I then added all my embellishments and my sentiment, along with some lace and pearls.

I sure hope that you come join us in this challenge! Lots of prizes to go around! And thank you so much for stopping by!
